Milan starlet Alexandre Pato will be the first Rossonero player to play alongside Ronaldinho in an official match this season. Both of them will, in fact, play for the Brazilian football team at the Beijing Olympics.
"He's a very important player for us," said Pato on Ronnie, who was named captain of the Olympic team by coach Carlos Dunga. "I always talk with him. For what he represents it's obvious that we all expect a lot from him. He's our reference point, simply because he's Ronaldinho. Considering what he represents it's normal he inspires other players."
On coach Carlo Ancelotti's prediction that he's going to score 30 goals, Pato said: "I always think about scoring, but my dream is to win. In Beijing I hope to score a goal per match and become the top scorer with six goals.
"Concerning Milan, I'm happy about what the coach has said. But I don't feel like making any predictions."
The 18-year-old striker was eligible to play for Milan from January, and scored an impressive 9 goals since then.
