AC Milan's last Serie A match ended in a 1-1 draw at Lecce. The Rossoneri had taken the lead through Ronaldinho, but conceded a last minute equalizer to Lecce's Andrea Esposito.
Alexandre Pato set up Ronnie's goal with a fine assist, but he believes that his side threw away two very crucial points.
"I did my job and tried to help the team, making that play for Ronaldinho," said the 19-year-old. "It was difficult to handle the ball because the pitch was wet. My only regret is Lecce managed to equalize, meaning we lost two important points."
Pato, or 'Duck' in English, has not been in the starting line-up recently in Serie A football, as Carlo Ancelotti often opts for the more experienced duo of Ronaldinho and Kaka supporting a lone striker.
"Personally, I always just try to be ready for coach (Carlo) Ancelotti," explained the Brazilian. "I am happy to be in this team, now I have to continue training."
Milan will be confident of picking up all three points on Sunday, when they host struggling Chievo at the San Siro.
